Health & Safety Training & Development

Practical, engaging training that builds competence, strengthens culture, and delivers real-world safety performance.

Office Desk Setup

What is it

Health & safety training is a legal requirement under:
Section 2(2)(c) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974
Regulation 13 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
Employers must ensure employees are provided with adequate health and safety training, appropriate to their role, risks, and responsibilities.
Our training and development service goes beyond standard courses. We design and deliver:
Role-specific, risk-based training programmes
Engaging, practical learning experiences
Competency-driven development pathways
This ensures your workforce is not just trained — but capable, confident, and compliant.

Why it matters

Most organisations provide training. Few achieve competence.
Common failures include:
Generic, “tick-box” e-learning with no behavioural impact
Lack of refresher training or competency validation
No alignment between training and actual workplace risks
This creates:
Increased likelihood of incidents and unsafe behaviours
Weak defence in the event of HSE investigation or prosecution
Inability to demonstrate compliance with Regulation 13 MHSWR
Effective training ensures:
Employees understand real risks within their role
Managers can lead and enforce safe systems of work
The organisation can demonstrate clear evidence of competence
